Scholarship opportunity is available for families with financial hardship. For players that are approved for a scholarship, league fees for the current season in question may be paid partially or paid in full by Western Hills Little League, subject to proper application and support submission and approval of the WHLL Board. Scholarships are not permanent nor automatically renew. Scholarships expire at the end of each season. Applicants must reapply each season and meet the requirements to be considered for a scholarship. Scholarship requests can be made for each child wishing to participate in the season. The Board will determine if full or partial scholarship will be awarded, and in what amount.
To be considered for a scholarship, the scholarship application and support documentation fulfilling eligibility requirements must be submitted at the time of registration. Supporting documentation for the financial hardship must be proof of participation in an assistance program (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - S.N.A.P.). The supporting documentation must be the parent or legal guardian for the child needing the scholarship. Birth certificates should be uploaded upon registration of the child(ren).
